The set-point voltage tolerance is affected by the tolerance and stability of RSET. The stated limit is unconditionally met if RSET has a tolerance of 1% with with 100 ppm/C or better temperature stability. This control pin has an internal pullup, and if left open circuit the module will operate when input power is applied. The open-circuit voltage is typically 1.5 V. A small low-leakage (< 100 nA) MOSFET is recommended for control. Refer to the application information for further guidance. An external 2.2-µF ceramic capacitor is required across the input (VI and GND) for proper operation. Locate the capacitor close to the module. 100 µF of output capacitance is required for proper operation. Refer to the application information for further guidance. This is the typical ESR for all the electrolytic (nonceramic) capacitance. Use 17 mΩ as the minimum when using maximum ESR values to calculate. |
